What about Covid-19?

Our existing staff have all been vaccinated against Covid-19 and any new staff would be vaccinated as soon as this could be arranged. Our staff are given ongoing practical and emotional support to help them cope with the current challenges. We always ensure that our staff are fully provided with all the PPE they need to ensure not only their own safety but the safety of our clients as well.

What hours would I need to work?

This role is for an average of 22 hours per week to include weekdays and alternate weekends. Occasional holiday and sick cover may also be required.

What would I get paid?

The salary for this role is £10.20 weekdays and £11.20 for weekend shifts.

What skills and experience would I need?

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience as a cook in a similar environment. To apply for this role you must be reliable, a team player, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Ideally you will already possess an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Chef Production or equivalent.

What to expect…

Your main responsibilities will include preparing, cooking and serving delicious, nutritious, healthy hot and cold food, to meet the dietary requirements of our residents.
