What about Covid-19?

Our existing staff have all been vaccinated against Covid-19 and any new staff would be vaccinated as soon as this could be arranged. Our staff are given ongoing practical and emotional support to help them cope with the current challenges. We always ensure that our staff are fully provided with all the PPE they need to ensure not only their own safety but the safety of our clients as well.

Vacancy Information

What hours would I need to work?

The hours are on a zero hours contract, and are to cover holiday and sickness. So would be as and when needed.

What would I get paid?

The salary for this role is £9.15 weekdays and £10.15 for weekend shifts.

What skills and experience would I need?

Full training will be provided.  To apply for this role you must be reliable, a team player, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

What to expect…

Your duties would include;

  • All communal areas are cleaned, dusted, vacuumed and tidied on a daily basis.
  • Residents rooms are cleaned, dusted, vacuumed and tidied as necessary or requested, according to their individual care plans and GSF colour code action requirements
  • Stairs and hallways are dusted, vacuumed and kept free of obstacles
  • Back and front entrances are kept clean tidy, and free of leaves and that doormats are cleaned regularly
  • All bathrooms and lavatories are cleaned daily, (and monitored regularly)
  • All bathrooms and WCs are supplied with toilet paper, soap and towels and towels are replaced daily
  •  Any other task required to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
