Activities Galore
At Bramley House, our wonderful Activities’ Coordinator, Lisa, ensures that there is a wide range of activities on offer every day, allowing all of our residents, even those living with dementia, to stay happy, active and engaged.

We have regular visits from a wide range of fascinating individuals and groups, providing activities from sing-alongs to flower-arranging……

reminiscing about the old days….

and there are always plenty of arts and crafts on offer.

Animal Magic
We especially love our animal visitors, not only those you might expect, such as guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs, but the more unusual as well, such as llamas…..

….owls and eagles, and even snakes!

Our own friendly resident cat, George, loves to find a cosy lap to sit on…..

and we also have some of the cuddliest guinea pigs you are ever likely to meet, as well as chickens, who happily roam around in the garden.

Your Wish Is Our Command!
We regularly ask our residents where they would like to visit, and their wish is our command! We are more than happy to arrange visits to pantomimes, local beauty spots or museums, a day at the seaside, pub lunches, a game of skittles, a pint at the local pub or even a trip on a canal boat. If our residents are keen to go out and about, we are ready and willing to take them. We have our own Bramley House minibus especially for these trips and friends and relatives are welcome to join us too.

We also love to open our doors to our young friends from the Leaping Frogs Day Nursery, who keep us all young at heart.

We have a totally amazing Magic Table, which provides hours of interactive fun for everyone, but especially for those living with dementia.

At Bramley House, we have a lovely, accessible garden, and we actively encourage our residents to join us to help with the planting, weeding and watering.
