Job description

The Old Rectory in Stalbridge, Dorset are currently seeking a Senior Carer and two Care Assistant to join our team.  The rates of pay are negotiable up to £14.00 per hour. To include every other weekend 

Part-time senior carer

Part-time carer days  

Part-time night carer 

The salary is both negotiable and competitive and ranges from £11.44 (no care qualifications/care experience) to £14.00 per hour depending on your skills, commitment and experience.

Ideally you will already have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar role however we are happy to offer full training if required.

Part-time 

You would take responsibility for the care of our residents during your shift, this would involve personal care duties such as bathing, dressing and assisting toileting/incontinence care. You would take an interest in the residents and clients, helping them to live as full and enjoyable a life as their health permits. You would also be required to carry out certain administrative duties, such as updating care records. You would support residents and clients at mealtimes, helping to serve meals. You might be asked to join in with our entertainment staff to help with planned activities, such as arts and crafts.

Ideally you will already have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar role however we are happy to offer full training if required.​

Several of our Senior Managers have worked their way up from Care Assistant roles and as a result our staff retention is very high. Our commitment to staff development is vitally important to our ethos and is reflected in our CQC report and the feedback from our Investors in People accreditation.
