Covid-19 Update: At The Old Rectory, the care and safety of all our residents and staff are our absolutely highest priority, but we also appreciate how important it is for our residents to stay in touch with their loved ones. We now have a garden meeting room, with two comfy seating areas separated by a glass panel, where relatives and friends can visit residents, and we are also now offering socially-distanced visits on the patio. The added benefit of keeping The Old Rectory so well protected from the outside is that, inside the home, our residents can socialise freely with each other, enabling them to stay safe, happy and active, in the environment they know and love. For full details on the precautions we take on a daily basis in order to protect our residents and staff from Covid-19, please click here.

“When my father moved in the Old Rectory I felt it was too early but he was happy and as his condition worsened the staff continued to give him excellent care…… I would like to express my and my father’s thanks for making his final years happy and comfortable.”

“From the first day that mum joined everyone at the Rectory, as a family we knew it was the right choice of care home. She was cared for so well, loved her little bedroom and her meals. The care staff were attentive as was needed and took precious time for chatting to mum. As a family we certainly recommend The Old Rectory to anyone who may be considering for a family member, an excellent care home with much to offer.”
