The Old Rectory: Facilities

Standard of Care

The Old Rectory prides itself on the standard of care and facilities offered to its residents. Light and spacious rooms coupled with secure and beautifully maintained gardens provide a peaceful and relaxing home.

Daily activities and the facilities available within Stalbridge and its friendly community ensure residents are kept active, engaged and feel part of the local community.

The Old Rectory is also a safe haven for vulnerable people living with dementia or related conditions who may be lost in the local community.

The secure and beautifully landscaped gardens have specially paved paths for safer walking, and plenty of seating and raised flowerbeds so residents have easy access to the flowers and are able to join in with gardening activities if they wish.

Family and Friends

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the safety of our residents has of course been our highest priority, but we know how important it is for our residents to have contact with their loved-ones.  Our wonderful Garden Visiting Room enables friends and family to visit whatever the weather.

With a glass screen running the length of the room, you can feel confident that your loved ones will be safe at all times.

We also now allow socially-distanced visits on the patio, although visitors must wear PPE at all times.

And we encourage plenty of Skype and Zoom calls, making sure that our residents still feel connected to their loved ones.
