Activities
at The Old Rectory

Your wish is our command...

Our wonderful Activities Coordinators make sure that there are always plenty of activities to get involved with, whatever your interests.

For the more creative, art materials are always available and we regularly offer craft activities, often related to the season, such as making Easter bonnets. We have a wonderful flower arranging expert, who regularly visits to help our residents create beautiful flower arrangements. We have regular visits from a wide range of fascinating individuals and groups, providing activities from singalongs to pantomimes. We especially love our animal visitors too, donkeys, horses, reptiles, owls and even Alpacas!

We regularly ask our residents where they would like to visit, and their wish is our command!  We are more than happy to arrange visits to the theatre, local  beauty spots or museums, a day at the seaside, pub lunches, a game of skittles, a pint at the local pub or even a trip on a canal boat.  If our residents are keen to go out and about, we are ready and willing to take them.
