Bramley House, a 40 bed luxury residential care home in Mere, Wiltshire, is currently recruiting for a Cook to join our team on a part-time basis for approximately 27 hours per week, over a variety of days, to include every other weekend. You must also occasionally be able to cover holiday and sickness for other members of the team.

​

The successful candidate should have at least one years previous experience as a cook in a similar environment and catering for specialist diets, providing meals for large groups of people, alongside a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Ideally, you will also hold a Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent but this is not essential. You’ll be confident in engaging with our residents to understand their individual needs and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home.

Your main responsibilities will include preparing, cooking and serving delicious, nutritious, healthy hot and cold food, cakes and bakes to meet the dietary requirements of our residents.
