Bramley House, our 40-bed luxury residential care home in Mere, Wiltshire, is currently looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to join their team. You would be expected to work over a variety of days, to include every other weekend. You may also occasionally be asked to cover holiday and sickness for other members of the catering team.​

​You must be reliable, a team player, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Although an advantage, no experience is needed as full training will be provided.

​

Your main responsibilities will include serving tea, coffee, and snacks to residents. Assisting in the preparation, cooking, and serving of delicious, nutritious, healthy hot and cold food, to meet the dietary requirements of our residents. Washing up and cleaning the kitchen.

 

Shift duration:

8.30am - 6.30pm

 

Shift pattern:

Week one - 21 hours/week

Week two - 42 hours/week

 

Rate of pay:

£11.44 per hour for weekday shifts - £12.44 per hour for weekend shifts.
