The Old Rectory, a 24 bed luxury residential care home in Stalbridge, Dorset, is currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team on a full-time basis on a 12 month contract (to include every other weekend).

​

Your main responsibilities will include preparing, cooking and serving delicious, nutritious, healthy hot and cold food, to meet the dietary requirements of our residents. Menu planning and ordering. You will get to know our lovely residents and enjoy providing them with wholesome meals and home made cakes and bakes.

​

The successful candidate should have at least one years previous experience as a cook in a similar environment and catering for specialist diets, providing meals for large groups of people, alongside a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Ideally, you will also hold a Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent but this is not essential. You’ll be confident in engaging with our residents to understand their individual needs and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home.
