The Old Rectory, a 24 bed luxury residential care home in Stalbridge, Dorset, is currently looking to recruit two part-time Kitchen Assistants to join their team. Position 1 also comes with the opportunity to progress and gain catering diplomas and would therefore suit someone with an interest in progressing to chef level.

Some cooking experience is desirable, but full training would be provided.

Your job would involve:

• Assisting the cook with preparing food.

• Washing up.

• General domestic tasks in the kitchen.

• Serving snacks and drinks to the residents.

• Taking menu choices from the residents.

• Cooking and serving meals.

Hours:  

​Position 1     21 hours per week to include alternate weekends (with progression and qualification opportunities)

Position 2     5.00pm – 7.00pm four days per week to include alternate weekends

 ​

Pay:

​​ £12.71 per hour weekdays/£13.71 per hour weekends
